Purple Checked.
Independent website accessibility audits and WCAG certification. We test your site against the standards the regulators care about - and the things that actually matter to your users - then certify what passes.
Why we built it
Accessibility audits used to be a tickbox exercise done by people who'd never used assistive technology themselves. Purple Checked exists because our clients kept asking for an audit they could actually trust - one that would stand up to a regulator, an employment tribunal, or a user who really needs the site to work.
What we test
Full WCAG 2.2 AA audit covering perceivability, operability, understandability and robustness. Real keyboard and screen reader testing. Colour contrast, focus indicators, semantic markup, form labelling, error handling, page structure - the lot.
What you get
A clear report of what passes, what fails, and what to do about it. Prioritised by impact, not arbitrary severity scores. Sites that pass get a certification mark you can display on your site, and a public listing on the Purple Checked directory.
Who it's for
Regulated industries where accessibility non-compliance carries real cost. Public sector procurement processes that require it. And any business that would rather find its accessibility problems through a controlled audit than through a complaint or a lawsuit.
